CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Introduction

The Hungarian Testing Board (HTB) is pleased to announce its seventh annual international conference. HUSTEF is one of the premier conferences for practitioners in the Central European region in all areas related to software testing. This year’s conference will start with tutorials given by invited speakers on the afternoon of the first day. On the second and third day presentations selected by the program committee will run in parallel tracks. These days the program will start and finish with keynote talks.

Personal note from the Program Chair

“My name is Lloyd Roden and I am privileged to be this year’s Program Chair for the HUSTEF conference. It is an honour for me to be involved and return to HUSTEF since I was keynote for the first three HUSTEF conferences (in 2011, 2012 and 2013). It has been exciting to see how HUSTEF has grown in recent years, with last year seeing the largest number of attendees; over 500 participants from many different countries, making HUSTEF a truly international conference. I am anticipating that this year will be even more exciting with more attendees from even more countries. I would like to personally invite you to submit your presentation to HUSTEF 2017, telling your story about testing. Why not be part of this prestigious event in Budapest this year?”

Submission Details

We are soliciting proposals of approximately 20-30 minute conference presentations (incl. questions) by test practitioners and researchers. The final length depends on the number of accepted proposals. Submissions should seek for extracting a message for a broader user community and should not focus on tooling or service details; tools and test services can be promoted in the vendor track organized for partners.

If you would like to be a partner in organizing the conference, please contact Csilla Kohl (csilla.kohl@hstqb.com). Partner packages are available here

A proposal for a conference presentation must follow the following template:

The independent program committee, composed mostly of industry stakeholders, will evaluate all proposals. Please submit your proposals in PDF format via EasyChair:

Please note that the program, including the presentation slides of accepted presentations, will be made available electronically to participants on the conference web site.

Entry

All speakers are welcome to the conference, which means you have free access to the conference & social event. Beside these, speakers are invited to an exclusive dinner with the Program Chair and Members of the Committees. On demand, Hungarian Testing Board covers the accommodation costs for presenters who are non-residents of Budapest (three nights with breakfast).
